Climate candy is climate-conscious candy that upcycles nature’s gifts of fruits and vegetables to make an accessible, convenient, and enjoyable treat. We skip the high-fructose corn syrups, cane sugar, and synthetic fillers because we believe treating yourself is synonymous with good health. As a result, it is candy that is good for you and good for the planet. Find our Urban Dictionary definition of “Climate Candy” here!
According to the Upcycled Food Association, “Upcycled foods use ingredients that otherwise would not have gone to human consumption, are procured and produced using verifiable supply chains, and have a positive impact on the environment.” To learn more about upcycled foods, click here.
Yes, of course! All of our products are 100% plant-based (*waving hello to our vegan community!*) and made with the PurePlus+ proprietary line of pumpkin, butternut squash, beet, carrot and sweet potato.
Fruits and vegetables are full of nutrients such as fiber and carbohydrates (the good kind!). Since the main ingredients of FAVES are pumpkin, butternut squash, beet, carrot and sweet potato, those same nutrients through the PurePlus proprietary line are preserved and delivered through our climate candy. Not only do these soluble fiber sources make our sweet treats easily digestible, but make for an overall healthier food-choice.
Yes to all of the above! FAVES ingredients are proudly non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, kosher and dairy-free, as it is part of our commitment to promoting good health and nutrition.
Our plant-derived packs and corrugated boxes are 100% recyclable. Compostable packaging is still in the works for specific areas of the country.
Good news! We will be running our next FAVES Climate Candy in a completely allergen free facility. Stay tuned for more information in August 2022.
